Hello, Pettingill's! This weekend we went to Brigham City Peach Days and hit up our favorite fruit and produce stands--a tradition we started a few years ago and hope to keep up when we have our own kids. We bought a whole shopping cart full of fresh peaches, nectarines, etc. we plan to turn into bottled fruit, peach cobbler, jams, fruit leather, muffins, pies, shakes, and whatever else even remotely has the possibility of including the word "peach" in it. Ahh, would you say we have a plethora of peaches?
Afterward we headed to our favorite tart cherry orchard at Woodyatt Cherry Farm and bought a bin of unsweetened cherries to use for Peach-Cherry pie. Here's to a festive September!
